Whilst its claim to fame is its distinguished and appealing
seaside, the city also has a thriving nightlife
scene and some tremendous history – so
much so that it’s been given the nickname of “London
On The Sea”.
Brighton appeals to a wide variety of visitors – ranging
from those who have a bit of money to spend and want to enjoy
a hip nightlife scene by the sea, to those who are looking
for a trendy place to stay on a strict budget.
The city also has an established gay and lesbian presence,
particularly in Kemptown.
Brighton and Hove also offers plenty for the traveller,
no matter what their budget or leisure preferences. The city
has a huge variety of budget and luxury accommodation,
a wide range of domestic and international cuisine restaurants clustered
throughout the city and many attractions from museums and
